Manage the Information Technology implementation at dnata KSA from a business perspective with an objective to create efficiency by using the right strategy, use of the latest available or getting new technology developed and maximizing the return on investment by achieving tangible cost savings, improved customer service, increased revenue and maximized retention through business process technology improvement, supported by necessary changes, customizations or information system enhancements, user training & support.
To participate in achieving the IT strategic objectives of dnata KSA by providing the necessary information for developing business proposals and manage the technical implementation, user requirements and operations thereafter.
The role will be located at Al Khobar, KSA and will report to the General Manager - dnata KSA.
During the annual planning process, support business plans and objectives with the management to update and complete the outline 3-year plan for major systems on and the detailed work program for the year ahead. Provide inputs to Line Managers in making the business case for any investments in new systems and technology infrastructure; liaise with HQ for specific inputs if required. In conjunction with the annual IT budgets ensuring that the expenditure is within the limits of the work plans.
Direct the development of information systems through the internal Business Service Group by providing the functional requirements and their prioritization to support the continuously improving business processes of dnata KSA. The implementation of the information systems to ensure deliverables are met in terms of quality, quantity and timelines against the agreed SLA. Manage the training requirements of the users given the available resources within dnata. Provide high quality post implementation system support to the users by encouraging best practices to improve the productivity, cost efficiency and retention.
In consultation with the internal Business Service Group, Property Services, Galileo and other service providers, oversee the end-to-end delivery of efficient and cost effective IT infrastructure solutions required at dnata KSA outlets through liaison.
To manage the IT requirements of the business areas of dnata KSA) through agreed SLAs with vendors, contracting companies and internal / external service providers. Ensure that the solutions are delivered professionally, to highest possible IT standards and at the lowest possible cost.
To investigate, initiate, implement process improvements and conducting necessary user training on a continued basis by taking full advantage of the capabilities of the existing systems.
Participate and influence User Conferences, such that the future requirements of dnata KSA obtains priority in the user group driven development programs.
Manage the information technology infrastructure requirements and customization for any new ventures not supported by EBSG, including its design, selection, implementation, support & maintenance through local vendors and service providers.
Actively be involved in developing business strategies to increase customer loyalty, dependency (locking) and retention by exploring emerging technologies (in consultation with the internal Business Service Group), developing commercial partnerships with different local & international dot.com companies and suppliers in the travel associated e-business world to provide value-add services.
To research and recommend to Senior Mgmt any e-business initiatives that are aligned to the growth of dnata so that there is maximum opportunity to generate additional savings and revenue through e-commerce and m-commerce. Drive and actively participate with concerned parties on any development and integration of the existing business processes across dnata KSA into an e-business environment.
